5 methods for sheet metal processing

Sheet metal processing can generally be divided into the following five processing methods:

First, use a single stamping method. By using a single stamping to complete the processing of metal piano parts distributed in an arc shape or distributed in pinholes, grids, etc., the separation of metal structures is completed in a short time, and the final metal product is finalized.

Second, adopt the method of continuous blanking. This sheet metal processing method can be divided into two types: unidirectional and multidirectional. The multi-directional punching method is generally suitable for layer processing of large metals or the formation of large metal holes, while the unidirectional punching method is suitable for processing multiple metal parts in a stacked state. The mechanical angles and functions set up by the continuous punching processing method are different, and different processing effects can be achieved.

Third, subsequent finishing. This type of punching processing method is also called nibbling processing, which mainly polishes and finishes the post-processing of metal parts. Generally, the processing grinders used in this process include small circular molds, small arc molds, etc., which can achieve precise positioning and precision grinding during the processing process.

Fourth, single or multiple continuous sheet metal processing methods. Based on CNC machine tools, the metal parts to be processed can be stretched and shaped at one time according to the selection requirements of the mold, and then metal parts that match the existing mold can be obtained. However, if the metal parts after the above treatment do not meet the expected requirements, they should be processed repeatedly to form their final shape.

Fifth, the array forming method. With CNC machine tools, when this method is used, it is usually to achieve large-scale production needs. By combining multiple existing molds, the faster processing of large sheet metal products can be achieved. In this process, the selection of sheet metal product styles and types is basically consistent, so as to facilitate the design of alignment templates.
